I chose Act Two studios based on recommendations from other Act Two parents and also the fact that I danced for Leslie when she was an instructor at Tolerton’s School of Dance. I wanted my daughter to have the same experiences with dance that I had when I was growing up.
I refer Act Two Studios. I feel the students enrolled there are gaining more than a dance education. The students learn about history and different types of music, as well as being schooled in manners and how to behave. In addition, students gain self-confidence and have a positive self-image. More importantly, Ms. Connaghan is very well informed on normal growth and development of children and youth. She will not allow her students to perform dance maneuvers that are harmful to their physical well-being.
